Shane's interest in golf sparked when he received a Greg Norman book for his 15th birthday. He joined Carbook Golf Club at 16 with a handicap of 27. In less than two years he achieved a handicap of 4 and would later win his club championship. He began his traineeship with the Australian PGA in 1995 with the desire to become a great player. However, after his training, he found a passion for teaching and helping others get the best out of their games which gave him the desire to coach.
"My teaching philosophy is maintaining fundamentals and simplicity. I have an in-depth knowledge of the short game skills needed to help students play at an elite level. I have a strong passion and love for teaching sports psychology and assisting students to create effective strategies and routines."
